What does this anniversary gift registry provide?
The anniversary gift registry provides a service which allows you to register your entire anniversary or destination anniversary online. You also receive a free anniversary website, announcement cards, a guest message board, shower games and gift announcement cards! Through the anniversary gift registry, your guests can give you portions of your anniversary vacation or destination anniversary as a anniversary gift! Instead of a "place setting for the table" you could receive a "romantic anniversary dinner" or help with an "upgrade to an anniversary suite" as a anniversary gift. There are no set up fees to use this anniversary registry.
Why should we use this anniversary registry?
Using the anniversary gift registry allows you to pre-plan what you want to do on your anniversary or at your destination wedding. Using an anniversary registry is so much more personal than asking your guests outright for cash! Guests will choose something special that they would like to give you as a anniversary gift. Unlike getting envelopes with checks in them at the anniversary and leaving the next day for your anniversary trip, an anniversary gift registry allows you to know ahead of time what you will have available for extras and upgrades on your anniversary or destination wedding. You can register to get the word out early, and have gift money to come in to help with the initial costs of the anniversary trip as many of our anniversary couples do.
Is the anniversary registry or anniversary website hard to set up?
Your anniversary gift registry is so easy to set up and only takes about 15 minutes! From destinations all around the world. You can pick the items you want or add anything we don't have to your anniversary registry with our "create your own wizard", certain specific registries will not include this feature. No cookie cutter anniversary registry lists or cartoons here! Each one is completely personalized by you and shows everything you want to do on your anniversary or destination anniversary with stunning photos for each item. What does an anniversary registry look like?
We pride ourselves on having beautiful pictures and detailed descriptions for every item on the anniversary registry. Your guests deserve to see what they are buying you and this makes the experience for them even more personal! How will I know how much to ask for?
When you set up your anniversary registry, we give you a suggested gift amount for each tour or activity per person in that area. However, you are free to ask for whatever you would like. We recommend using varied denominations to accommodate all guests and checking with your travel professional or supplier for exact pricing. All prices vary by location, availability, and are subject to change without notice. You can break down the amounts any way you choose. For example, if an item is going to cost you $200.00, you may ask for "2 gifts of $100.00" or "4 gifts of $50.00," etc.

For Registries with items that are being booked for you or sent directly to you or your hotel, you will find the amount will be preset for you in differing increments.
Does the anniversary registry site help with the anniversary travel or destination anniversary arrangements?
We encourage you to work closely with our travel professionals who can help design the anniversary trip that is uniquely yours. Many include special VIP amenities and benefits available only when you book with one of our travel professionals. These added touches can make all the difference in your anniversary experience!
What if some of my anniversary guests aren't that computer friendly?
No problem! Our customer service representatives are always happy to help and will take orders for your anniversary registry over the phone. It is part of the outstanding customer service that we offer and part of what makes us the premiere anniversary registry. Our toll free phone number is found on every page of the anniversary registry site.
How much does it cost to use the anniversary registry and anniversary website?
We never charge a set up fee, and during the sign up process we are the only anniversary registry that allows you to choose whether you'd like the service charge to be added or deducted from each gift amount. If a credit card is used to make a purchase, then a standard 3% credit card fee will be charged. (This fee goes directly to Electronic Merchant Systems, not us, and is for secure credit card processing for your guests.) The service fee charged is 7%. The service charge covers your account management, your anniversary web page, order processing, gift announcements, etc. This service eliminates other typical registry costs, such as shipping and gift-wrap charges. Announcement, shower games and gift cards are free and can be downloaded at any time. The anniversary registry saves your guests time and gas with the comfort and convenience of purchasing their gift from their home or office. (They don't even have to buy another card!) Guests from a distance can also give you a contribution towards your anniversary with ease using their credit card over the internet, which means no shipping or lugging gifts with them to your anniversary destination. Also, there is no hassle or embarrassment of returning or exchanging unwanted gifts for you!
How will I know which items are directly shipped or sent to my hotel/resort/cruise line for me?
All items that are shipped directly to you or to your supplier have a full explanation listed under "notes to couple". As you are building your registry, please read notes specific to that item as you create your list. For more details on the terms of the item, please see the terms and conditions section.
How do we notify our guests about this anniversary registry and anniversary website?
We provide downloadable announcements for you, at no charge, to let your friends and family know about your anniversary registry and anniversary website. (Find under the link "Let Everyone Know") Your party and family are great ways to help your guests learn about your registry. We can send out an email announcing your registry to your selected email list. Your Matron of Honor can include an announcement in the Bridal Shower invitations. Make sure your family knows how special this is to you, ask them if they would suggest the anniversary registry when guests ask what to get you. Get everyone involved and remember that your guests really want to get you something you truly want and will remember forever.

What if I don't want to use the whole anniversary website but I want to put up my photo and a special message on the top of my anniversary registry?
To post a message and photo on the top of your registry, log in and go to "wedding website". You don't have to fill in the whole thing, just load your photos and use the "special message" section only.
How am I notified of a purchase from my anniversary gift registry?
You receive an email notice to view your "Gift Announcement" that is filled out by the gift giver. Your guests can also choose to print out this customized gift announcement with a personal message and a photo of what they selected on your anniversary registry to hand to you. You can log on to your account at anytime and go to "view gifts" to view your gift details, givers and the gift announcements. Guest can also post their gift announcement on your anniversary registry under the "Well Wishes" section if they choose.
When will I receive my gifts from my anniversary registry?
You can collect your anniversary gifts any time, as many times as you'd like just by emailing us or going to the "Request Payment" link under "Manage Your Gift Money" when you log in. You can collect your gifts by:

  • Having a check mailed directly to you (regular US post, no additional fees)
  • Via an ACH bank to bank transfer in the US (no additional fees) - the choice is yours!
Log in and go to "Manage My Gift Money" to select the method for which you would like to receive your gift monies. If you get busy and forget to request your gift money, we'll send it by your specified method 5 days before the anniversary (or upon request by you of an earlier date) and after your wedding.

Checks Only: Overnight delivery is available M - F at a charge of $21.00 in the US and will be deducted from your total gift amount. Checks will be sent to the address you provided. If you do not update your personal information, we will not be responsible for the lost check. A check can be stopped and a new check reissued, but you will be charged a $30.00 stop payment fee. We are not responsible or liable for any losses or hardships due to lost mail or untimely deliveries of regular mail. International clients are required to use PayPal for transfer and all PayPal terms apply.
Will you send the gift money from my anniversary registry to my travel agent or a travel supplier?
All gift money will be sent direct to you at your contact address or electronically, not to your travel professional or supplier. Remember, you can email us at anytime to collect funds or go to "Request Payment" after you log in.
Do you book the activities on my anniversary registry for me?
You have the freedom to choose whatever supplier for any gift you receive as we are not booking the item for you just because it is listed on your gift registry. We always suggest asking your travel professional to help you with reservations for your anniversary vacation or destination wedding. If your supplier requires you to book in a certain manner, you will find those terms under "Note to Couple" as you build your registry as well as receiving an email notification once the item is purchased for you with booking instructions.
When will my anniversary registry be active? When will my anniversary registry close?
Guests can view and give you a gift starting the first day you set up your anniversary registry. Your anniversary gift registry will remain active until you would like to delete it. To delete your anniversary registry, just log in and go to your dashboard and look for the button that says "Delete Registry".
What if we don't know where we are going but want to use the anniversary registry to start receiving gift money for the anniversary trip or destination wedding?
If you have not booked your anniversary trip or destination anniversary yet and are not sure where you are going we suggest setting up as "Undecided" or "It's a Surprise!" You can always change this to the specific location for your anniversary later. You can still list your wishes in a general way while you are planning.
Can I use this anniversary gift registry if I am not from the US?
Yes, absolutely! All amounts will remain listed in US$. We ask that you use a PayPal account so that we can send you money in a timely manner. PayPal does have currency conversion. Please see www.PayPal.com for all details and service fee rates.
Can I use this site for my Anniversary or a Vow Renewal?
Yes! We have many couples use this site for their Anniversary or Vow Renewal.
Can I set this up for a anniversary couple as a surprise?
Yes, you can set this up for someone else as a surprise. However, it is very important to notify our office of all the details. Please email specific details of your situation along with your contact information to support@eregistrygifts.com.
What happens if we decided to change the location of our anniversary or destination wedding?
No problem, if you have already selected a place for your anniversary and have to change the location, just log in to your account manager and change your location or information under "Personal Account Information".
Can I change/add items to my registry list after I've posted it?
Yes, anytime. You just log in to your account manager and go to "Edit Registry" to add more items.
What happens if my anniversary is cancelled or postponed?
If your anniversary is postponed, just log into your account and revise your anniversary date. If your anniversary is cancelled, we will be more than happy to reverse the charges from each of your guests' purchases at no cost to you. However, if the cash payments for your gifts have already been wired to your bank account or sent to your travel supplier, it is up to you to return any gifts to your friends and family.
Do you sell my information and my guests information?
Absolutely not! All information is kept confidential. We do not store any credit card information, in fact - our own staff can't see it. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
